InnOVATION Arts Academy proudly offers in-person summer programming
2-Week Production Camp
July 14-19 and 21-26
Middle and High School and *Upper Elementary
*It is strongly recommended that elementary students entering 4th and 5th grades have training and/or musical theatre performance experience prior to camp registration.
9am-4:30pm daily
Camp Location: ArtsPlace (161 N. Mill St. Lexington, KY)
Tech and Final Performance Location: Dunbar High School (1600 Man O War Blvd. Lexington, KY)
Join InnOVATION Arts Academy and Antagonist Productions for a two week production camp! Students will receive exciting musical theatre instruction and will participate in our fully staged, costumed, and choreographed production of Disney's Dare to Dream Jr at Dunbar High School Theatre, Casting will take place on the first day of camp. Students will also perform in pre-show performances at Shakespeare in the Park on July 17th, 18th, and 19th at Woodland Park.
A technical theatre track is also available to interested students! Tech track students will receive mentoring in the various tech areas of theatre, such as costuming, props, set, backstage management, crew, hair and makeup. Tech track students must commit to the two week camp and all performances.

Join InnOVATION Arts Academy for a week-long musical theatre adventure! Students will work with InnOVATION Arts Academy instructors to hone their acting, singing, and dancing skills in order to participate in a 30 minute showcase featuring songs from Disney's Dare to Dream Jr. Each day will be full of fantastic activities including crafts, games, and of course, rehearsal and performances!

This performance camp features up to three end-of-camp performances on Saturday, July 12th at 12pm, 2:30pm, and 5pm at ArtsPlace.

SUMMER 2025 PRODUCTION
Disney’s Dare to Dream JR. is a musical revue that follows an eager group of trainees on their first day at a fictional Walt Disney Imagineering Studio. As the group sets out to help each other discover their dreams, they work together to explore the power of dreams to unite, inspire, and make anything possible. Drawing from a century of beloved Disney films, Dare to Dream JR. features songs appearing for the first time ever in a Disney stage musical, including fan-favorites from The Princess and the Frog, Coco, Encanto, and Frozen II. This musical revue is a thrilling mix of contemporary songs, timeless classics, and brand-new medleys that are sure to surprise and delight Disney lovers of all ages.
